They are the Beaufort chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, the largest singing organization in the world with more than 23,000 members in the US. Barbershop-style quartets sing in four parts, unaccompanied and in close harmony, with the melody in the second voice.

The Power of Color, Extended

The Photography Club of Beaufort’s annual exhibit has been extended at the USCB Center for the Arts, until Tuesday, February 20th. The exhibit theme, “The Power of Color,” was judged by area photographer, Jean-Marie Cote (www.thefrenchguy.us) of Hilton Head Island and featured over 50 images from over 30 photographers.
