Designer Rug Raises Money for Breast Cancer Research

FWDG is now carrying a rug by Rizzy Home designed by Connie Post and Rizzy Home; 25% of the sales of this rug through November 30th will benefit The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Connie Post is an award winning furniture retailer consultant; consulted on FWDG’s recent renovations and through that partnership became friends with FWDG founder Larry Mark.

Concert Features African American Spirituals

On Sunday, November 10 at 7 pm, the Sea Island Chamber Singers will present a concert at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 157 Lady’s Island Drive, Beaufort. The program will feature African American Spirituals. Charles D. Frost directs the choir and Gerald Anderson will accompany on piano. The concert is free to the public, but donations will be gratefully accepted.

The Department of Visual Art & Design at the University of South Carolina Beaufort presents the artwork of Jamie Berry, Attrition,at the Sea Islands Center Gallery.
