What’s Stopping You? I have worked for a long time on issues in my life that I would like to improve–weight, self-esteem, sticking to an exercise plan. Every time I sit down to write this column, I’m obliged to contend with the devil on my shoulder… and the angel on my other one. I’ve been writing a lot, lately, about the ways that social media tends to emphasize, and maybe even enhance, our various divisions – be they social, political, religious, or what have you.
