The Island Recreation Association and Hargray Communications are proud to present the 25thannual Wingfest where over 7,000 lbs of chicken wings will be served. Wingfest will be on Saturday, March 21, 2020 from 11 am -5 pm at Shelter Cove Community Park.  

Beaufort History Museum will present its fifth annual Living History Encampment on Saturday, March 14, 2020 from 9 am – 5 pm in the Arsenal courtyard. Re-enactors coming to Beaufort from several states will portray Union troops from the Department of the South who were garrisoned in the Lowcountry and occupied the Beaufort Arsenal during the Civil War.

Beaufort Town Center will host the 3rd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival benefiting the South Carolina Victim Assistance Network (SCVAN). The event is free and open to the public and will take place on Saturday, March 14 from Noon – 4 pm. 

The Coastal Discovery Museum will host their annual Native Plant sale on March 21 from 10 am until 1 pm.  The museum will have a variety of native plants to cover diverse landscaping needs, from vines to blooming bushes to butterfly friendly landscaping. You will learn from the experts what are the best native plants for your landscape.

What’s more fun than a Lowcountry spring fair, filled to the brim with historical flair? With the arrival of warmer weather, the Beaufort Heritage Tourism Corporation, Santa Elena Foundation and Coastal Discovery Museum are collaborating to bring the third Lowcountry Fair with Historical Flair on Friday, March 27 for schools and Saturday, March 28 for the public.

The party at Latitude Margaritaville Hilton Head continues with the grand opening of the Latitude Town Center on Saturday, March 7, from 12 to 4 p.m. The public is invited to enjoy a celebration that includes tropical fare, three live bands, dancing in the Town Square, stilt walkers, games, giveaways and model home tours.
