southern hospitalityYou remember the hilarious Futrelle Sisters. We met them last December when Coastal Stage Productions presented their wonderful holiday show Christmas Belles. Now that same quartet of comedy, Frankie, Twink, Honey Raye and Rhonda Lynn are at it again in the over-the-top, follow up production, Southern Hospitality. This time their predicament is bigger than ever!

Ever since the Super Smart-Mart and the rendering plant closed, folks have been leaving Fayro, Texas in droves and the sister’€™s beloved hometown is in danger of disappearing. It’€™s up to the gang to save it from extinction by pulling out all the stops and Honey Raye, with a major assist from her former nemesis, Geneva Musgrave, quickly sets their preposterous plan into motion.

Fayro’€™s only hope might be Senora Salsa. She’€™s looking to re-locate her salsa factory and Honey Raye only has three days to persuade her to move to Fayro by hosting the biggest celebration of the year- “€œFayro Days,”€ which includes a craft show, a pet costume parade, a beauty pageant and a huge Civil War battle reenactment!

The insanity intensifies when a desperate Twink practically drags her unwilling groom to the altar, the small town’€™s preacher and his wife have a run in with the local casino, and the “€œmeanest woman in 12 counties,”€ decides to stop in for a quick visit!

Southern Hospitality is directed by Luke Cleveland. Cast includes local talent: Jayme Brinson, JT Chinn, Alex Clark, Bill Dalton, Robyn Erickson, Dave Falls, Pam Flasch, Christine Grefe, Susan Johnson, Margy Oehlert, Kay Owen and Debra Reier.
