Artscape Beaufort & Soiree begins its weekend art sale November 13-15, 2015 at the Old Bay Marketplace Loft & Rooftop, 917 Bay Street in Beaufort, benefiting Lowcountry Montessori School.
Find a variety of art from throughout the Southeast including photography, paintings, jewelry, pottery, fine crafts & more. Artscape Soiree is the kick-off event on Friday, November 13th from 7-10 pm offering cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, live music, silent auction and art for purchase. Tickets for the Soiree are available at www.artscapebeaufort.com and the event is sponsored by McKnight & Weaver Dentistry.
Artscape Beaufort is a two-day art exhibition and sale, with special events throughout the weekend. All events on Saturday and Sunday are free and open to the public. On Saturday, November 14th Artscape Beaufort begins it public art sale from 10 am – 7 pm at the Old Bay Marketplace Loft, 2nd floor. From 10 am – 2 pm join the team from Ameriprise Financial for “Bubbly & Bites” offering refreshments, artists painting “en plein aire” and live music. Saturday evening, from 4 – 7 pm, enjoy wine & cheese at our “Meet the Artist” event brought to you by Eastman Marine. The events continue on Sunday, November 15th from 12 – 5 pm with the final day of the art sale. Our annual “Family Fun Day” sponsored by Coastal Orthodontics, Dr. Mallory Scott, includes activities for children from 1 – 3 pm with a “Doughnut Drop” contest, art activity and other fall-inspired fun for all ages.

All proceeds from the Soiree and a portion of proceeds from all art sales will benefit Lowcountry Montessori School (LMS), a free, nonprofit, state-chartered public school. LMS provides an authentic Montessori-based program to students from Beaufort and surrounding counties. In 2015, LMS moved into its permanent location in the Old Shell Point neighborhood in Port Royal. Currently, LMS is serving children from pre-school through tenth grades, expanding through 12th grade by 2017.
