The Beaufort Kennel Club and Doggie Doos will present a “Fun Canine Sports Weekend” at the Rose Dhu Creek Equestrian Center in Bluffton, SC. The schedule is as follows:
Saturday, March 29th
• Microchip clinic (proceeds donated to the Humane Association League)
• Agility Fun Match 10 a.m. until …
Cost is $7 for the 1st run and $3 each additional run.
• The agility fun match is being put on by Doggie Doos www.doggiedoos.net, located in Ridgeland SC. Owner & trainer Janet Rahn has competed at the National level, taking 3rd in the 8” division at the 2005 AKC Nationals, and has dogs with multiple titles in multiple sports. She and her dogs even appeared on the David Letterman Show in 2006. Partial proceeds from entries will be donated to Morningstar Animal Rescue www.morningstar.petfinder.com
Sunday, March 30th
• The fun begins at 10 a.m.
• Disc Dog (Frisbee) Demonstration and Workshop with Laura Moretz, 3 time NC State Champ, 4 time National Qualifier, Level 4 USDDN Judge
• Freestyle Dance Demonstration and Workshop with Peggy Singletary & “Porter”, winner of the WCFO National Championships
• CGC Testing, Obedience and Rally Presentations plus Run-Thru’s (cost TBA), Flyball Demonstrations, Rescue Booths, Information and more.
