The Historic Bluffton Foundation & The Heritage Peanut Company would like to congratulate the winners from the 10th Annual Bluffton Boiled Peanut Festival! The event was a great success and raised several thousand dollars for the Historic Bluffton Foundation. The highlight of the festival was the boiled peanut cookoff with 13 entries throughout three categories. Randy Moody won the title “Best Nuts in Town” this year. The title was unanimously agreed upon by a panel of 7 judges including the legendary William Lee, CEO of Tony the Peanut Man peanuts and Beaufort County Council representative Chris Hervochon.

The Boiled Peanut eating contest was a close call with Josh Kight beating out Sam Marcinkoski by just 3 grams.

Other highlights of the festival were live music by the Horan Brothers Band, delicious BBQ served up by the award winning pit master Mark Green of Mother Smokin’ Good and of course all you can eat boiled peanuts.
