Lucy-HoboThe comedic genius of Suzanne LaRusch , a Hollywood-based actress-impressionist, recreates the magic of the world’s most beloved comedienne, Lucille Ball, in a original show called “What Would Lucy Do.”

The University of South Carolina Beaufort Center for the Arts will host two shows on Sunday, February 1st at 3 pm and 7:30 pm. Ms. LaRusch first played Lucy on special assignment to Universal Studios and quickly came to the attention of Lucie and Desi Arnaz, Jr. who authorized her to portray their mother’s comic genius as the “Official Lucy Performer”.

“What Would Lucy Do” evolved from other shows Suzanne wrote and performed as the famed Redhead. In 2007, she appeared for ABC on their number-one rated hit reality show “The Next Best Thing,” a national competition and search for the greatest celebrity impersonator. Suzanne wrote and performed all original material for the show. The result? America voted her fourth runner up and Number One Female Celebrity Impressionist in the country!

Tickets for “What Would Lucy Do? are on sale at www.uscbcenterforthearts.com or by calling 843-521-4145. Adult $25, Senior $20, Students $15. Group rates are available by request. The opening act will be The Beaufortettes, Tap Dancing Divas.
