Vic Varner and Friends will play two shows at The Jazz Corner, August 8th and 9th starting at 8 pm. The ensemble specializes in the music of Brazilian composer Antonio Carlos Jobim (of “Girl from Ipanema” fame, for the uninitiated).
The group thrilled a packed house at the USCB Center for the Arts back in March, when they opened for the Jazz Corner’s charismatic impresario Bob Masteller and his quintet. This is your chance to see them in a more intimate setting in the legendary jazz club that attracts great artists from all over the world. The Jazz Corner is located at 1000 William Hilton Parkway, Hilton Head Island.
Vic Varner plays regularly in Beaufort – solo on Thursdays at Breakwater and with his ensemble on Sundays at Saltus River Grill.
