The Low Country Chorale is celebrating 20 years of continuous performances this season! Come join them on Friday, November 17th at 7pm or Saturday, November 18th at 3pm, as they present ‘Reflections of the Past 20 Years’ at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 157 Lady’s Island Drive, Lady’s Island. Admission is free, but donations are gratefully appreciated.
The Chorale members are also thrilled to announce they have a new Music Director, Beaufort’s well known Choral Director and music and voice teacher, Jordan Norris Plair (above).
Jordan is enjoying her first season with Low Country Chorale. A native of Beaufort, Jordan graduated from Presbyterian College in 2009 with a degree in Choral Music Education before returning home to teach. After spending 8 years in the classroom, she decided to pursue other musical opportunities in the spring of 2017. In addition to working with Low Country Chorale, Jordan directs the Beaufort Harbormasters, teaches lower school music at Beaufort Academy, and is the Director of Music at St. John’s Lutheran Church. She lives on Lady’s Island with her husband, Nick, their son, Mason, and their dog, Riesling.ÃÂ
