LowCountry Children’s Chorus, an auditioned community treble ensemble, will be presenting its 7th Annual Holiday Concert at the Baptist Church of Beaufort on Saturday, December 6, at 3 pm.
This year’s concert features many of the great choral classics from the renaissance to the contemporary, including composers Praetorius, Byrd, Vivaldi, Mozart, and contemporary Canadian composer Rupert Lang. Some contemporary vocal arrangements of well-known carols will also be featured. Our singers will be assisted by a string ensemble comprised of players Megan Johnson, Olive Warrenfelz, John Wiley, Amy Rabinowitz, and Anthony Ingram. The chorus is under the direction of Dr. Melanie N. Williams, DMA, and accompanied by Mrs. Linda Keene. No admission/donations encouraged.
