The image on our cover is “Bella Notte,” an oil painting by William Schneider. It can be seen during Biennale, the longest running Nationally Juried Exhibition in our area, which opens May 6th at Art League of Hilton Head Gallery. This event, now in its twenty-fourth edition, invites artists from all over the country to compete for cash prizes and the opportunity to show their work on Hilton Head Island during the month of May.
Approximately one hundred pieces will be selected from over five hundred entries, based on originality of concept, composition and execution. Truly the best work from around the country will be on display, all of it available for purchase. Look for more on Biennale in our next issue.
