Check out the Port Royal Lowcountry Made Market during Memorial Day weekend — set for Saturday, May 28 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Live Oaks Park, 904 14th St.

If you’re looking for some family fun over the holiday weekend, there’s a ton to do in Port Royal before and after you peruse the market: You can start your day with a cup of coffee from Corner Perk Port Royal in the heart of downtown. Right down the street you’ll find the Cypress Wetlands, where you can look for alligators and nesting birds. After the market, your whole family will love The Sands Beach — there’s an observation tower to look for dolphins and other wildlife, a beach area where the kids can look for shark teeth, and a community beer garden for the adults!

The Port Royal Lowcountry Made Market is held at Live Oaks Park — about a 7 minute walk from Corner Perk and the Cypress Wetlands. Peruse the stalls of over 30 local vendors set up amongst the trees.

The Lowcountry Made Port Royal artisan market features only local artists, artisans and small businesses from art and home goods to jewelry, ceramics and baked goods.

The Lowcountry Made Port Royal Markets will only be held on select second Saturdays starting next month. Dates include: May 28, June 11, July 9, Aug 13, Sept 10, Oct 8, Nov 12, and Dec 10.

Each market includes live music, food and drink, and is free to attend!

The Lowcountry Made Port Royal Markets are sponsored by Barbers of the Lowcountry, Amidst the Alders and Corner Perk Port Royal.
