Beaufort Theatre Company presents the hit Broadway musical “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown”
Join Lucy, Linus, Sally, Snoopy, and the rest of the Peanuts gang as they pay tribute to “good ol’ Chuck” in “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown.” This wonderful musical comedy will be on stage at the University of South Carolina Beaufort Performing Arts Center, Friday and Saturday, April 30 and May 1, at 7:30pm, and Sunday, May 2 at 3:00 pm.
Everyone’s favorite “blockhead” Charlie Brown finally gets the recognition 
he deserves via a series of endearing skits mixed with a collection of captivating songs from Clark Gesner’s hit Broadway show, “You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown.” The repertoire includes such unforgettable tunes as “Happiness,” “The Kite,” “Suppertime,” “T-E-A-M,” “Book Report” and many more. It’s the Peanuts gang at their very best!
“You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown” is the second production of the newly formed Beaufort Theatre Company (BTC), which debuted to great acclaim with last fall’s “Arsenic and Old Lace.” The BTC is a community based theatre group comprised of amateur and professional actors who share a love for the performing arts.
Charlie Brown cast members include: Benji Morgan (Charlie Brown), Kristin Brady (Lucy), Jordan Culver (Schroeder), Michael Kirby (Linus), Kasey Hummel (Sally), and Darryl Poovey (Snoopy). The director is Casey Chucta. USCB proudly supports the creativity and community spirit involved in this production.
