Tatiana LadyMay Mayfield RGBCome and enjoy an evening with the music of Gershwin, Scott Joplin, Duke Ellington, Leonard Bernstein and the music from Chicago with conductor John Morris Russell and the refreshing and beautiful voice of Tatiana “LadyMay” Mayfield, a nationally renowned jazz vocalist, musician, and educator. Join the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra’s Symphony Under the Stars as it presents “All That Jazz.”

 

         On April 3rd and 4th in a large festive tent at Veterans Memorial Park at Shelter Cove patrons can enjoy an evening of jazz with the orchestra under the baton of John Morris Russell with the multi-talented Tatiana “LadyMay” Mayfield who will perform music sung by the great jazz women of all time, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan and Billie Holiday. Her music has been featured in the UK, Switzerland, Germany and France.

         Table groups use the concert themes to inspire costumes, table decorations and dinner menus as they compete for a variety of prizes. What a fun way to get into the spirit of this exciting evening! Whether you put a table of ten together, design costumes, have your dinner catered or bring your picnic and sit outside under the stars, you will get into the spirit of this always thrilling evening. 

         Last year’s concert was sold out, so book your table early. You can provide your own refreshments, but wine, beer, soft drinks and water are available for sale by the League of the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra. Tickets for table seating are $85 and $75, concert seating is $50 and lawn seating is $25. Bring your lawn chair or blanket, add a picnic dinner and enjoy a great evening!
