Dr. Scott Bennett Kicks Off the Friday Organ Concerts at Noon Series
Once again, The Parish Church of St. Helena, located at 505 Church Street in historic Downtown Beaufort, is offering the gift of music. The Friday Organ Concerts at Noon are free and feature accomplished organists from across the country.  Dr. Scott Bennett of Charleston, South Carolina, will perform on Friday, March 27.
    Scott Bennett is organist-choirmaster at Grace Episcopal Church in Charleston, South Carolina. Dr. Bennett has performed extensively throughout the southeastern and northeastern United States, Germany, and Scandinavia, including solo performances with the Charleston Symphony Orchestra. In addition to two solo organ recordings, he has also produced three recordings featuring Grace Church Choir. Four of the recordings are carried on the Pro Organo label. A frequent performer at the Piccolo Spoleto Festival in Charleston, Dr. Bennett was featured in last year’s performance devoted to the works of Bach. Grace Church Choir and the Grace Church Compline Choir also performed at the festival.
    Spend an hour being soothed and excited by the music of these incredible artists, while relaxing in the beauty of our historic church.
