Mary Green Chorale
The Mary Green Chorale presents Mozart a La Carte on Sunday, January 25, 2026 at 4 pm at Lowcountry Presbyterian Church, 10 Simmonsville Road, Bluffton. The Chorale, under the direction of conductor Mary Woodmansee Green, will present pieces for mixed, men’s and women’s chorus, solos and ensembles accompanied by a professional string quintet. As always, the Chorale will present engaging commentary throughout the evening.
The first half of the program is “The Religious Mozart” with sections of his early Missa Brevis, the Grand Mass in C Minor and his powerful Requiem along with the moving and well-known Laudate Dominum and Ave Verum. Second half, the Chorale performs excerpts from three of his operas for the “The Secular Mozart” all in English: The Marriage of Figaro, Don Giovanni and The Magic Flute.
Many of the Chorale members are featured in solos and a string quintet will be joined by Karen Ball on piano and organ.
Tickets for the MGC Mozart a La Carte concert are $30 (open seating).
