The 5th edition of CraftHiltonHead2016,National Juried Fine Arts Craft Guild Exhibition, which occurs only once every two years, will showcase up to ninety 2 and 3-dimensional craft works of featured artists from around the country, competing for cash awards.
The selection of the finalists will be by nationally renowned judge, Ben Whiteside, owner/curator of the Red Piano Art Gallery on Hilton Head Island. For over twenty years, Mr. Whiteside has presented art auctions in South Carolina, Texas, Arizona and New Mexico. A People’s Choice Award will be chosen by the attendees.
This exclusive presentation of a wide variety of imaginative crafts will be on display and for sale December 6-31, 2016. A grand opening reception and awards ceremony will highlight the exhibition on Thursday, December 8, 2016, from 5 to 7 pm. This free, open to the public artistic event will take place during the entire run of the professional production of White Christmas, on stage at the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina.
