On November 7 from 6 – 8:30 pm, the Beaufort County Open Land Trust will host noted author and Auldbrass authority, David DeLong, and current Auldbrass architect, Tom Crews, at the USCB Performing Arts Center.

Mr. DeLong’s Frank Lloyd Wright’s Southern Plantation, explores the nuances and concepts behind the unique Beaufort County plantation.  Mr. Crews is the designated on-site architect, implementing some of the many renovations which occur on the property.  Both speakers provide a unique perspective on this highly unusual and one-of-a-kind plantation.

The lecture compliments physical tours of the property, which is only opened to the public every two years, and will occur Saturday and Sunday, November 7-8.  The talk and the tours benefit the Beaufort County Open Land Trust, a non-profit dedicated to preserving land throughout the County.

Information and tickets are available through the Land Trust website at www.openlandtrust.com .
