Beaufort’s southern lifestyle and home furnishings store Scout Southern Market and Sweet Tea Bar is celebrating five years of business on Bay Street, and is opening celebrations to the public.
On Saturday, July 27th from 9 – 11am at 709 Bay St Scout will be hosting an old fashioned birthday party complete with:
- ● Goodie bags for the first 50 customers (no purchase needed)
- ● Beach balls for the first 50 children in attendance
- ● Complimentary treats from the sweet tea bar, including cupcakes, macaroons, caramel
popcorn, and mini sweet tea floats.
For entertainment, a raffle will also be held from 9:30 – 11am, in addition to the showing of Forrest Gump and a balloon animal artist. Guests will be encouraged to take selfies in front of Scout Southern Market’s new mural wall, hand painted by local artist, Weezy Alcott.
Of the celebration owner Ann Higgins says, “We couldn’t be happier to be celebrating 5 years in the lowcountry, especially a town as special as Beaufort, and we can’t wait to celebrate with our loyal customers!”
