The Wardle Family YMCA is currently partnering with Tate Enterprise in Beaufort to gather shoes, clothing and personal items for Haiti earthquake victims.

All items are welcome; however, due to Haiti’s tropical climate, summer shoes, t-shirts, shorts and other similar items are ideal.  In addition to the above items, baby clothing is MUCH NEEDED as well as deodorant, toothpaste/toothbrushes soap and other personal items.

“We are pleased to help the Haiti relief effort here at Wardle Family YMCA,” says Mike Bostwick, CEO, Wardle Family YMCA. “All donations are welcome and we are excited to involve our Y members as well as the local Beaufort community.”

Following the clothing drive, Tate Enterprise, along with two other local Haitian businesses, are making a trip to Haiti and are personally delivering all that’s collected!

So, please be generous and help the Y help Haiti!

Donation boxes will be located in the YMCA lobby through February and into March.  For more information, please call 843-522-9622 or email Holly Cordray at hcordrayymca@gmail.com.
