Photography Club of Beaufort announces “AWAKENINGS”, a photography exhibit to mark the beginning of Spring in the Lowcounty.

The Beaufort Art Association is pleased to announce that Tom Lynch, nationally renowned watercolorist and teacher, will be judging BAA’s 47th annual, non-juried Spring Exhibit and Sale.

The human figure comes in all shapes and sizes, but it also remains a classic when captured from life – the one-armed greek youth at the museum has a lot in common with posers trying to make some extra money to get through college and graduate in 2009.

The Beaufort Kaleidoscope: Film, Food and Fine Art is taking place on March 6-9. The event is sponsored by Habersham Land Company and presented by the Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce.

A dual exhibition featuring new watercolor paintings by Alexandra Sharma and one-of-a-kind jewelry by Kym Welton opens with a reception on Tuesday, March 11 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Art League Gallery in Pineland Station. 

The Beaufort Art Association will host an exhibition of recent paintings entitled “Perspectives” by featured artist Juliana Kim.  The exhibit will open on March 31 and continue through May 10.
