Sponsored by Historic Beaufort Foundation, the 2020 Spring Architects’ Tour set for Saturday, March 14,  showcases the creative and distinctive imprint of some of Beaufort’s most accomplished architects.    Beaufort has boasted some of the best of southern architecture since building began here in the 18th century and today’s local architects continue the tradition. This year, the tour features the work of Allison Ramsey Architects, Frederick and Frederick Architects and Montgomery Architecture & Planning.

Registration Open for 3rd Annual Camp Conroy

The nonprofit Pat Conroy Literary Center’s third annual Camp Conroy will be held on June 15 to 26, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Presented in partnership with Beaufort Middle School, the collaborative experience will provide campers (age 8-14) with a hands-on opportunities to create a book from start to finish.

A very special gallery exhibit has been created by Diane Britton Dunham and Natalie Daise to celebrate What it Means to Be Free: Art of Women of Color. The art exhibit is inspired by The Room: Stories and Songs for Free Women, by Sara and Natalie Daise. It features the work of women of color, exploring the meaning of “freedom” in different mediums.
