Hilton Head Comedy Club doses the Lowcountry with Laughter.

Award-winning comedy comes to the Hilton Head Comedy Club in October with a pair of  honored comedians and a return engagement by a one-time street performer who specializes in “cool stuff” that thrills every audience.
Dennis Blair, a longtime opening act for George Carlin and comedy club headliner, opens the month with an Oct. 1-4 engagement that features Blair’s special blend of traditional stand-up and guitar-driven humor. Blair’s talents have earned him an Emmy-Award for writing and a Grammy Award nod for his novelty tune hit, “Rappin’ Rodney.” He has extensive television and movie credits to go along with his status as one of the best comedians in the business.
Next up for the club – which features a new touring headliner every Tuesday through Saturday – is standout stand-up John Padon. He’s also earned an Emmy Award for comedy writing and has been a fixture on the Las Vegas Strip, headlining comedy clubs and appearing as featured comic in big scale production show. Padon, whose sharp wit and commanding presence have earned praise wherever he plays, most recently was the opening act for Carrot Top at the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas. He plays HHCC Oct. 7-11.
Mid-October marks a return visit by one of the Hilton Head Comedy Club’s favorite performers, the wonderful Todd Paul. He helped get the new intimate, candle-lighted venue rolling strong in July with a series of sets that left delighted fans demanding an encore booking. He returns Oct. 14-18 and is sure to please with his quirky onstage fusion of cool tricks, juggling, guitar solos and non-stop banter honed during his years performing on the streets of San Francisco.
