The nonprofit Pat Conroy Literary Center is honored to host the book launch event for Donna Keel Armer’s One Note Murders, Book #3 in the Cat Gabbiano Mystery Series, on Saturday, November 15, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at 601 Bladen St., in downtown Beaufort. Free and open to the public; no advance registration required. Books will be available for sale and signing. Refreshments will be provided. The author will be in conversation with Pat Conroy Literary Center executive director Jonathan Haupt from 5:30 to 6:00 p.m. Books will be available for sale and signing before and after the brief program.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Donna Keel Armer resides in Beaufort with her husband of forty-two years. While she volunteers at numerous organizations, she is most often found at the Pat Conroy Literary Center. Her writing inspiration comes from her world travels, her personal experiences in Italy and from living in the Lowcountry. She has written numerous magazine articles on travel and food and is the author of Solo in Salento: A Memoir and the Italian translation Un’Americana in Salento and celebrated her Italian book launch in Otranto, Italy in 2022. In October of 2023, her first mystery novel in the Cat Gabbiano Mystery Series debuted, The Red Starfish, followed by Book #2, Moringa~Tree of Life in June 2024. Donna and her husband Ray split their time between the Lowcountry and Otranto, Italy.
