One of Bluffton’s most delightfully quirky celebrations is back! The Bluffton Buzzard Ball will return to the heart of Old Town on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 6:00–9:00 p.m., bringing an evening of music, dancing, dinner, and lighthearted fun beneath the sprawling live oaks at the historic Heyward House.
Created by longtime Bluffton champion Babbie Guscio, the Buzzard Ball has quickly become a beloved fall tradition that perfectly captures Bluffton’s signature spirit—easygoing, artistic, and just a little cheeky. Guests will enjoy live music from Georgia Overdrive, an alfresco Lowcountry dinner by Calibogue Catering, and plenty of room on the dance floor to “shake your tail feathers.”
“If you love Bluffton as much as I do, you’ll want to join us in celebrating the Buzzard by dining and dancing the night away,” said Guscio. “Come as you are, or in your best Buzzard homage, and get ready for a night to remember.”
For more than 50 years, Guscio has been the creative force behind some of Bluffton’s most memorable community events, including the Bluffton Village Festival (originally Mayfest), the Children’s Fourth of July and Easter Parades, the Bluffton BBQ Festival, and the Bluffton Flower Show. The Buzzard Ball continues that tradition—bringing together locals, neighbors, and longtime friends to laugh, dance, and savor what makes Bluffton home.
