Two of the Lowcountry’s most charming destinations will host Art Walks this month.
First up, the Guild of Beaufort Galleries invites you to hit the streets of historic downtown Beaufort, popping in and out of their myriad galleries, mixing and mingling with artists and those who love what they do. Enjoy strolling minstrels, refreshments, special exhibits and demonstrations, and more. It’s all taking place on February 14th, from 5- 7:30 pm. Take your valentine out on the town for some creative inspiration!
Old Town Bluffton is another perfect setting to enjoy fine art while socializing with fellow art lovers. This winter edition of the popular Art Walk is brought to the local community by the Old Town Merchant’s association on Thursday, February 19th. Visitors can view the work of over 200 artists, including pottery, fiber, jewelry, glass, sculpture, basketry, turned wood, photography and fine paintings and prints in a variety of price ranges. Some galleries include working studios where a glimpse of the creative process may be seen. Wine, refreshments and live music in the streets. Nothing goes better with art! The fun begins at 3 pm and doesn’t end ‘til 8 pm.
