Damn Panic or Pandemic?   The usual way I get questions to answer is by talking to people.  Sometimes it is socially and sometimes it is people who actually stop me on the street.  Both of those things are out of the question these days, so I will address a couple of the problems my friends and I have discussed on the phone or by email.

Fear and Loathing Dear Aunt Bossy, I saw on your Facebook page that you just cancelled a five week trip to France including a month at a French school in Villefranche-sur-Mer because you would be near Italy. You mentioned that you were upset with yourself for making that decision. I’d like to know why you say that and also what I can do to lessen the paralyzing fear that has overcome me.  Scared Sick

The Odd Man Out Dear Aunt Bossy,             I have a great group of girlfriends and we have so much fun going out together. I also have a great man. My problem is that my friends come from a high socio-economic group with all that implies, including education and professions.  

Unpaid Professionals & Unfulfilled Dreams  Dear Aunt Bossy,          I am a very talented creative person.  I do not have a job in my field, but “friends” frequently ask me to work for them for free or for very little money to “build my portfolio.”

Advice to Sexy Sally  Dear Aunt Bossy,            My mother is so out of it I could scream.  She has no idea of what it is like to be my age and refuses to learn.

Workers’ Rights  Dear Aunt Bossy, I have a job as a receptionist in a very quiet office. No one has ever complained about my work.

She Wants to Change Her LifeDear Aunt Bossy, The New Year is approaching and I want to change my life.  I am in my late thirties, and my two kids are in their late teens, so I have some freedom.  I need a job.
