The nonprofit Pat Conroy Literary Center will host a Children’s Book Fair featuring a dozen local children’s book authors and artists as part of the Coastal Discovery Museum’s annual Family Fun Day. Meet them under the pavilion at Honey Horn (70 Honey Horn Dr., Hilton Head Island) on Tuesday, August 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Attendance is free and open to the public.
Books by participating authors will be available for sale and signing. The Storybook Shoppe (www.thestorybookshoppe.com) from Bluffton will also be on hand with a selection of other local and bestselling children’s books.
The Conroy Center will have a selection of additional gift shop items for sale, as well as a preview of the Camp Conroy 2021 anthology, Free to Be.
