This will be the Lowcountry Master Gardeners’ 9th year to present their award winning series of classes, lectures and workshops, ‘Lunch and Learn.’ This free springtime series showcases local professionals and Master Gardeners giving valuable information and tips on gardening in our unique climate. The Gazebo at the Port Royal Farmers’ Market at noon is the place to be beginning April 7th, and every Saturday until the end of June. The series will begin with a presentation addressing the garden damage from last winter’s freezing weather and remedies for putting things right.
This year’s Lunch and Learn reprises some of the most popular classes, as well as new and informative ones. And of course, all sessions are free. Just come to the Gazebo in the Port Royal Farmers’ Market at noon on Saturdays, beginning April 7th. Come early and leave your folding chair in the gazebo while you shop at the wonderful flower, food and fresh fruit and produce vendors at the Farmers’ Market.
