Why: Proceeds to help fund the “Voices” trip to Durham NC where they will perform as guests of the Duke Symphony Orchestra.

Background: Voices is a 50-voiced advanced choral ensemble. Under the direction of Victor Varner, they have performed at the Heritage Choral Competition in Washington DC, with the Duke Symphony Orchestra, at the First African Baptist Church on Daufuski Island, and at The Savannah Arts Academy. The Voices are frequently requested by local civic groups and, by audition, consistently well represented in the South Carolina All-State Choir. They'
