Angelic Voices Sing Holiday Concert

Lowcountry Children’s Chorus will be presenting their 9th Annual Holiday Concert on Saturday, December 11 at 3 pm at The Baptist Church of Beaufort.

This auditioned community treble chorus of 35 young singers in Grades 4-9 under the direction of Dr. Melanie Williams and accompanied by Linda Keene has been busy this semester performing at The Boys and Girls Club and at the Fripp Island Friends of Music Concert Series with the Beaufort Youth Orchestra. They will also be traveling to Hilton Head in December for a formal concert at The Cypress on December 10 and again in March as they partner with the Hilton Head Choral Society in a presentation of John Rutter’s Mass for the Children.

This holiday concert will feature a variety of choral music which includes tunes in Hebrew, Latin, Czech, Serbian, and South African and will also feature several instrumentalists including clarinet, flute, percussion, and string ensemble. Audience particpation is always encouraged with our community carols and we traditionally close with a selection of seasonal favorites.
